Japanese Cultural Exchange Day 2026
Bowral High School welcomed 88 students and teachers from Hosen Gakuen High School, Japan, for our annual Cultural Exchange Day. Through workshops, performances, and shared activities, students built friendships and gained valuable cultural understanding. The day was a wonderful celebration of learning, collaboration and international connection.
Celebrating our sporting success
Bowral High School congratulates Year 12 student Jack Goulder on his selection in the NSW Rugby League Under 18s Country Team. Following outstanding performances for the Illawarra Steelers in the SG Ball and Laurie Daley Cup competitions, Jack has earned the opportunity to represent Country in the annual Country vs City clash at Brookvale Oval.
Year 12 Society and Culture visit to Nan Tien Temple
Year 12 Society and Culture students visited Nan Tien Temple to deepen their understanding of Buddhism through guided tours, meditation activities and cultural experiences. The excursion provided valuable insight into Buddhist beliefs, symbols and practices, supporting their study of belief systems and ideologies.
National Careers Week Hospitality Masterclass
As part of National Careers Week, Bowral High School students explored the hospitality industry through an Educational Pathways Program masterclass. Students gained practical experience preparing and decorating fruit tarts while learning about career pathways, School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships, and opportunities within the growing hospitality sector.

2025 Bowral takes the Smith Cup
Bowral High School students proudly represented our school in the annual Smith Cup against Goulburn High School — a friendly competition that brings together students through sport, teamwork and school spirit.

2025 Colour run underpinned by PBL values
Our annual Colour Run is a highlight of the year, bringing students and staff together for a fun day of laughter, teamwork and school spirit — celebrating participation, wellbeing and community.
Friendly games
Bowral High School travelled to Eridge Park to compete against Moss Vale High School in league tag, rugby league and netball. Our students enjoyed a successful day, with victories in the U14 and U16 Girls League Tag and U16 Rugby League matches.
The day was filled with great sportsmanship, school spirit and outstanding effort from both schools. Congratulations to all students on representing Bowral High School so proudly.
1st place for design award
H2GP Pro 2025 NSW Final - winners! Students racing cars they built at the UOW Great Hall.
Our team has had a great day today with 270 laps completed in our 4 hr race. Although we didn't qualify for world's, our students were enthusiastic and persistent in their efforts to keep trying their best. I'm very proud that we walked away with 1st place for design award.
Sydney South West Regional Oztag Carnival
Bowral High School proudly competed in the Years 7/8 Sydney South West Regional Oztag Carnival, with students displaying excellent sportsmanship and school pride. The girls team recorded two wins and a draw, narrowly missing the finals, while the boys team competed strongly throughout the day. Congratulations to all students, with a special mention to Boston for his outstanding leadership and positive attitude.
