Public transport is a great way to safely get to and from school.
Catching a train
Bowral High School is close to both Bowral and Burradoo train stations on the Southern Highlands Line.
- Bowral Station is around a 4-minute drive or 15-minute walk.
- Burradoo Station is about a 5-minute drive or 18-minute walk.

Catching a bus
Several Berrima Buslines routes service the school, including regular and school-only buses.
- Buses arrive from 8:20 am and depart after 3:30 pm.
- The main stop is located on Park Road, directly outside the school.

Afternoon Bus Arrangements
Students who walk home or catch first wave buses are asked to leave via the breezeway or Hall exits only.
Students leave via the Hall or Breezeway Gates at 3:20 pm

Students will line up in the quad and leave via Breezeway Gate.
While waiting for their bus students are asked to remain seated in the quad.
Teachers will announce each bus’s arrival. Students will form one junior and one senior line, then be dismissed in groups of five under teacher supervision.

Driving and parking
The start and end of the school day are busy times for pedestrians and drivers outside schools.
When driving and parking near our school, please:
- ensure you park safely in school zones
- follow speed signs
- do not make U-turns or 3-point turns outside the school.
