BHS Swimming Carnival 2025

🏊‍♂️ Bowral High School Swimming Carnival – Thursday 27 February 2025 🏊‍♀️

📍 Location: Bowral Pool

📅 Date: Thursday 27 February 2025

💰 Cost: $3.10 per student (please bring the correct amount and pay at the pool)

🎟 Spectators: $1.90

This is a compulsory school day, and all students are expected to attend. The carnival will feature competitive races in the main pool and fun novelty events in the 25m pool. 🏆🎉

🚌 Transport:

Bus students will be dropped off at the pool in the morning and returned to school in the afternoon.

All other students must arrange their own transport.

Rolls will be marked at 9:00 am.

Students arriving at school will walk to the pool with staff.

☀️ Sun Safety:

Students are responsible for their own sun protection. Remember to slip, slop, slap, wrap, and slide!

🍔 Food & Drinks:

Students must bring their own recess, lunch and water.

The canteen will be open, and Interact will host a BBQ.

❗ Important Reminders:

🚫 No crepe paper, coloured hairspray, coloured zinc or body paint at the pool.

🟢 Hume (Green)

🌧 Wet Weather Plan:

In case of bad weather, updates will be announced on 2ST radio, Facebook, School Bytes and Sentral.

🔹 Early Leave: Students must provide a parental note to their mentor roll teacher. Only parents or carers can collect students unless prior approval has been arranged.

🏊‍♂️ Competitive Swimmers – Zone Carnival 🏊‍♀️

If you are a club, zone, district or regional swimmer and wish to enter the Zone carnival on Friday 21 February, see Mr Davey in the PE staffroom urgently with your 100m event times. Deadline: Wednesday 13 February, 4:00 pm.
