Student Representative Council

The Bowral High Student Representative Council (SRC) undergoes a rigorous selection process, beginning with nominations requiring teacher references and interviews. Successful candidates then deliver speeches to their peers, articulating their suitability for SRC membership.

While the SRC operates discreetly, its impact is substantial, contributing behind the scenes to various school initiatives. Activities include organising "Taster Day" barbecues for prospective Year 7 students and coordinating fundraisers throughout the year. Events include the 'Jeans for Genes Day' fundraiser in August, dedicated to supporting the 'Jeans for Genes Day' foundation. Additionally, funds are raised to support organisations such as the Red Cross and Legacy through badge sales.

With a steadfast commitment to serving the school community, the SRC remains dedicated to its mission. Its members are passionate about making meaningful contributions both now and in the future.
