On Tuesday August 27 Kim Kelly, Head teacher Mathematics, was honoured with a 2013 Minister's Award for Excellence in Teaching Award. Kim was nominated for the award by Linda Langton for her outstanding success in teaching Mathematics. In 2012, Kim taught Alice Kemp who was placed first in the state in General Mathematics. Every year her HSC students perform exceptionally well.
Kim is also a highly effective school leader and has many whole school roles including a Positive Behaviour for Success (PBS) team member, Curriculum, Learning Support and Technology team member.
Kim leads her faculty and the school in the effective use of technology as a tool for learning. She is a worthy recipient of this award and we are very proud of her.
